a Friday the 13th- i must say nothin much happend on the day itself except me not finding any good buys. mope. i wanted to post on that date. its such a rarity. but by the time i reached back it was over. mopeee.
2 fire drills- haha the first one they had at pgp. we were studying in the study room when the alarm rang- of course no one bothered. like 15 mins plus later security came in to shoo us out. i don't see the point if you ask me, cos in the real event with their sorta reaction time we'd all be dead. anyway we escaped by hiding out in the canteen and having dinner with everyone who was smart enough. haha. i didn't know the canteen was soundproof! the first and last good thing bout it. besides the waffles.
anyway the 2nd fire drill was during prog lect. haha how we had hoped. the looks of expectation and elation on everyone's faces was priceless la. this guy even packed up his bag and shot for the door it was hilarious- trust me i think everyone knew it was a DRILL not a real fire. put it this way, he reminded me more of an excited puppy about to go for a walk. haha. the lecturer told everyone to siddown and shaddup and lect continued. amidst the flashing lights and ringing bells. so anticlimax hor.
a wonky bus ride- i usually take A2 to biz. so that morning dragged myself up the bus with the rest of the half-awakes. surprises- the bus started going the A1 way instead. which really woke me up cos i was alr late i didn't need to be later. i started to wonder if i actually read the sign wrongly and boarded A1 in my semi-concious state. until the everyone started buzzing and the smartest guy nearest the driver told him we were on A2. then the driver started shouting "balek balek!!!" which was damn funny. some early morning humour to start the day always works.
washing my jeans at the hostel- really its 40c a wash and 40c dry. i had to wash my wed clothes, so for the first time since my stay i tried the machines. this looks bad on me but for the first time in my life i actually tried using a washing machine. haha. what! i KNOW how to load it but i just dunno like how to set and chuck in the powder and stuff. i even forgot bout the powder so i just koped someone's. hey, its a hostel live with it haha. so anyway in between bad signage, unlucky machines, bad advice and all around muddledness i spent $2 plus washing 3 pairs of jeans. do the math; i don't wanna think about it. hurrs.
generally quite a few of the shops aren't open yet so it seems quite sterile but lotsa others are! haha bought 3 tops and a jacket. ahhh retail therapy. we caught you me and dupree too..always love kate hudson movies. ever since How to lose a guy in 10 days. i'm such a sap honestly haha.
